WIP2 Exhibition Background

Dusk Blue, the Networks of the Unseen, is a pop-up exhibition exploring technology, ecology, memory, and the unseen systems that govern our reality.

Dusk Blue is the nautical term for the final moment of twilight before total darkness. Within this faint blue light, sailors make their navigational calibrations.

Similarly, this work in progress exhibition captures 37 artists at a vital threshold: the final, visible moments of error code correction, material experimentation, and conceptual adjustment before a final degree show.

Echos, and Absences:

Artists use sound, kinetic sculpture, and immersive environments to physicalize nostalgia, trauma, and the ephemeral networks of human memory.

Algorithmic Oracles:

Exploring the glitch as modern divination, these works reveal how AI, machine vision, and algorithms misread and reinterpret human rituals.

Artificial Intimacy:

Surveillance technology, mixed reality, and AI — artists question how human existence, comfort, and bodily autonomy are validated, and at the same time limited, by machines.

More than Human Systems:

Pushing beyond human-centric perspectives, this final zone engages with the unknowable, featuring interventions with living organisms, biological neural networks, planetary-scale ecology.
